Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, Ill., is implementing the Cerner Millennium EHR system, according to a BCR News report.
The hospital will use the Cerner platform to provide data to clinicians and enhance provider-patient relationships. It will also allow patients to connect with their providers via an online portal.
Additionally, the platform will enable Perry Memorial staff to connect with healthcare organizations across the country. The hospital plans to complete the Cerner implementation by June 2018.
"We chose Cerner because of their ability to help us identify risks and extend our care beyond the hospital setting — engaging and empowering our patients," said Annette Schnabel, Perry Memorial Hospital's president and CEO.
