OptumCare chooses Allscripts for IT platform

OptumCare — a healthcare delivery organization that’s part of Optum — has inked a 10-year agreement with Allscripts to utilize its TouchWorks suite.

OptumCare physicians will utilize the TouchWorks suite as an EHR and practice management solution.

“We are honored to be selected by OptumCare for this strategic partnership,” said Allscripts CEO Paul Black in a statement. “Working together, we will provide OptumCare physicians the clinical, health plan and analytic data that will further enhance the high-quality care they provide to their patients.”
