Ms. Gallagher is vice president of technology solutions for HIMSS North America, and Mr. Malec is vice president of data platform solutions and acquisition tools at RelayHealth.
The two will take over for John Halamka, MD, CIO of Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center whose term as chair ends in January.
