Ohio health IT firm to create 150 new jobs

Nick Recker, CEO of Path Forward, said the Cincinnati-based health IT firm plans to invest $3 million to expand its local office and add a second one, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.

The efforts are expected to create 150 new jobs in Cincinnati. Per an agreement approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, the firm received a tax credit estimated to be worth nearly $1.2 million in exchange for committing to create the jobs by 2019, according to the article.

Path Forward plans to expand its patient call center and IT services in Cincinnati, according to the report, which cites an agreement approved in September by Cincinnati City Council.

The renovation, which is expected to be completed in January, will add 5,000 square feet of space, Mr. Recker told the Cincinnati Business Courier. Path Forward expects to secure additional space early next year for a second office nearby, according to the report.

The health IT firm hopes to have made 100 new hires by the end of 2017.
