To date, 377,644 eligible professionals participate in the Medicare EHR Incentive Program. An additional 205,279 eligible professionals participate in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, and 4,891 participate in some version of the program, according to the latest numbers from CMS.
To date, Medicare-eligible professionals have received $9 billion in payments, Medicaid-eligible professionals have received $4.6 billion and Medicare-eligible hospitals have received $20.6 billion in payments.
