Memorial Health Care Systems, Bryan Health collaborate on virtual care platform

Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health and Seward, Neb.-based Memorial Health Care Systems launched Memorial eVisit to offer telemedicine services at their critical access facilities.

The platform uses virtual care software created by Minneapolis-based Zipnosis.

Bryan telemedicine physicians will staff the new service, reviewing patient information and offering their thoughts on potential diagnoses, according to the article.

"Our partnership with Memorial Health Care Systems is a great opportunity to offer this care option to people in rural communities and support Memorial's efforts to deliver primary care for everyone who needs it, regardless of when they need care," said Bryan's director of telemedicine services Andy Whitney in a prepared statement. "We expect other rural hospitals across the state will also be interested in using the eVisit platform to expand access to care for their patients."
