Medisafe brings medication lists to patients through Epic, Cerner EHRs

As part of an initiative led by the ONC, Medisafe, a personalized medication management platform, demonstrated the functionality of its interoperable medication lists.

Medisafe debuted the platform during a live demonstration at the Connected Health Conference in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 13.

Using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), data from Cerner and Epic was integrated into Medisafe’s app. Through the app, patients at hospitals using the Cerner EHR or Epic EHR can view a complete list of their medications.
