McKesson revenues exceed expectations

McKesson has reported revenues of $44.1 billion for the three months ended June 30, up 37 percent compared with the same period last year.

The revenues exceeded analysts’ expectations of $40.95 billion for the quarter. Shares were up Friday morning, trading at $194.29.

Profit for the quarter, the first of the company’s 2015 fiscal year, was $403 million, down slightly from $424 million during the first quarter of 2014.
