The health system’s staff members were able to review medical records, but could not make any updates. Additionally, patients were unable to access the MyLGHealth patient portal, according to the report.
A Lancaster General spokesperson told Lancaster Online the outage was not due to a malicious incident. The health system is still investigating the cause of the downtime.
