HHS also stressed how infected third-party organizations may impact services at hospitals and health systems.
“[The] compromise of a Danish shipping company has temporarily limited or stopped container shipping into and out of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as well as the Port of Los Angeles which could disrupt supply chains for many sectors, including the [healthcare and public health] sector,” the guidance reads.
