In 2016, the market sat at $7.2 million. Between 2017 and 2025, Transparency Market Research estimates the market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14.9 percent.

Qiagen, F. Hoffman-La Roche, and Illumina lead the expanding market.

Transparency Market Research expects the next-generation sequencing segment to dominate the global personalized health market. It also noted increasing investment toward research and development of biomarkers have already helped propel the industry forward.
