Ms. Burchell currently serves on the executive committee for the EHRA and was reelected to this position.
She will be taking over for Mark Segal, PhD, who has served as chairperson for the past year and completes his maximum of six consecutive years on the executive committee. Dr. Segal is vice president of government and industry affairs for GE Healthcare IT and also serves as vice chair emeritus of EHRA.
Additionally, Sarah Corley, MD, CMO of NextGen Healthcare, was reelected to the executive committee for a two-year term and as vice chair for a one-year term.
Richard Loomis, MD, senior medical director at Practice Fusion, also was reelected to the executive committee.
