CVS Health has chosen the Epic EHR system for CVS Specialty's care management programs.
CVS Specialty hopes to improve care coordination processes through the Epic implementation. CVS Specialty's care management programs include the Accordant program, which offers services to patients with rare chronic conditions.
CVS's retail medical clinic, which is called MinuteClinic, migrated to the Epic EHR system in 2015.
