Computer Containing Medical Records Stolen at California's Loma Linda Medical Center
A computer containing 500 surgical patients' medical records was stolen from Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center in April, according to a report by the Mercury News.The computer contained patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, surgery dates and procedure type, according to the report. Affected patients have been notified of the breach.
