Computer Containing Medical Records Stolen at California’s Loma Linda Medical Center

A computer containing 500 surgical patients’ medical records was stolen from Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center in April, according to a report by the Mercury News.

The computer contained patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, surgery dates and procedure type, according to the report. Affected patients have been notified of the breach.
