Cleveland Foundation grants BioEnterprise $480k grant to identify health IT opportunities

The Cleveland Foundation has signed $19.2 million in grants this month, including a grant aimed at supporting health IT innovation, according to a Crain's Cleveland Business report.

The Cleveland Foundation granted BioEnterprise — a Cleveland-based business formation, recruitment and acceleration initiative — a $480,000 grant. The grant was awarded to identify and develop new health IT initiatives, according to the report. The funding will also address the shortage of qualified IT workers.
