1. The oneChart EHR was developed by Epic Systems.
2. The EHR includes “myBeaumontChart,” which serves as a patient portal. “myBeaumontChart” allows patients to view their medical records online, see laboratory and imaging results, communicate with care providers, pay bills, manage appointments and more.
3. “Getting all the Beaumont Health hospitals on a common platform is a gigantic first step toward aligning clinical care,” said John Fox, Beaumont Health president and CEO, according to a news release. “Now, all eight hospitals will be able to communicate patient information through one system, enhancing patient care, quality and safety.”
4. Beaumont Hospital – Farmington Hills, formerly Botsford Hospital, is a 330-bed hospital. The hospital is a part of Royal Oaks, Mich.-based Beaumont Health.
