7 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. Moreno Valley, Calif.-based Riverside University Health System's $53 million Epic EHR went live this week.

2. Bakersfield, Calif.-based Kern Health Systems deployed Cognizant's technology expertise and its TriZetto software.

3. MeadowsRegionalMedicalCenter in Vidalia, Ga., plans to transition to MEDITECH's 6.1 web-based EHR platform this fall.

4. Epic's first Australian customer is now live on its EHR. Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne had its big bang go-live between April 30 and May 1.

5. Pleasanton, Calif.-based MedicalMine revealed its new, cloud-based ChARM Telehealth solution.

6. Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York City selected Allscripts Sunrise EHR and revenue cycle management solutions.

7. Orlando-based Florida Hospital's East Florida Region facilities have started to implement PatientSecure, a palm scanning device that improves security measures in the patient identification process.
