SysInformation Healthcare launches new service line: 4 things to know

SysInformation Healthcare, a provider of medical coding and billing services to hospitals, physicians and clinics, has a new service line.

Here are four things to know about the service line.

1. It will provide experienced receivable "SWAT" teams and interim revenue cycle staffing to hospitals nationwide.

2. The new unit's official name will be QuickFire Advisory.

3. SysInformation Healthcare said the company's latest expansion of its revenue cycle management business will be led by Jim Yarsinsky, vice president of consulting for QuickFire Advisory. Mr. Yarsinsky, an expert in developing cash producing strategies, has also created the "SWAT" approach to clients with their need for additional horsepower in hospital medical billing and collections.

4. "A vast number of health systems, especially critical access hospitals, cannot find the right personnel with sufficient skills within the areas of billing, coding, hospital accounts receivables and other revenue cycle functions," Mr. Yarsinsky said in a prepared statement.

"Our interim revenue cycle staff will identify cash-acceleration opportunities for our clients. In many cases, special expertise is only needed for a limited time in order to get receivables back on track, existing staff up to speed on a new technology solution or to cope with a backlog of work due to a staffing shortage."
