The solution, with technology through a collaboration between Ontario and ReveMed Technologies, is designed for “improving productivity in the insurance receivables workflow,” according to a news release.
“The most arduous process in the revenue cycle is calling payers, navigating the interactive voice response and waiting on hold for the payer to become available,” Shawn Yates, Ontario Systems director of product management, said. “By adding Insurance Hold Manager to the Artiva HCx insurance receivables process, we can now automate a significant portion of insurance follow-up for providers, adding as much as 25 percent more productivity. That’s a huge increase, enabling them to work more accounts in their insurance portfolios.”
Ontario plans to introduce Insurance Hold Manager at the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s annual meeting, ANI 2017, from June 25-28 in Orlando, Fla.
