Here are eight recent news updates from healthcare revenue cycle management companies.

SummaCare, an Akron, Ohio-based provider-owned health plan, reported positive results following the implementation of the Burgess Reimbursement System. Within the first few months of implementation, SummaCare experienced an increase in pricing automation and adjudication procedures, improved claims accuracy, lessened IT burden and improved provider relations.

Decision Resources Group, based in Burlington, Mass., acquired revenue cycle management company Healthcare Business Insights.

Leidos entered into an agreement with a financial institution for an accelerated stock repurchase transaction. The company will purchase $100 million of its outstanding shares of common stock.

Citigroup research analysts have cut their price target on Leidos stock from $49 to $47.

Jorge Figueredo, executive vice president of McKesson, sold 8,525 shares of company stock for a total transaction price of $2,046,000, according to a Dakota Financial News report.

CarePoint Health, a health system based in Bayonne, N.J., partnered with MedAssist Partners for patient eligibility services.

RelayHealth Financial will hold the San Francisco Healthcare Finance Symposium on May 28.

Somnia Anesthesia named Diana Allen, MHA, its new vice president of patient revenue.
