Azalea Health acquires LeonardoMD, MetroMedical Solutions joins Kentucky accounting firm & more – 7 RCM key notes

Here are seven recent updates on revenue cycle management companies.

1. The Vascular Experts, a vascular surgery medical group providing care in southern Connecticut and New York state, chose revenue cycle management services provider Meridian Medical Management for RCM solutions. 

2. Dean Dorton Allen Ford, a Lexington, Ky.-based accounting firm, almost doubled the size of its healthcare branch through its acquisition of MetroMedical Solutions, a Louisville, Ky.-based provider of medical billing services. 

3. Katy, Texas-based Right Medical Billing, a provider of medical billing services, signed a memorandum with Dallas-based Preeminent Technology, a provider of healthcare IT support, to expand their collaboration. 

4. Azalea Health, which offers cloud-based health IT and medical billing solutions, acquired LeonardoMD, a practice management and EHR provider.  

5. Beacon Hill Financial, which serves as the financial division of Beacon Hill Staffing Group and places financial professionals in healthcare revenue cycle management positions, opened an office in Oak Brook, Ill. 

6. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Associates in Diagnostic Radiology and Plaza Radiology extended its revenue cycle management agreement with Zotec Partners, a provider of radiology RCM services.   

7. iHealth Solutions, a healthcare software and services company based in Louisville, Ky., acquired New Jersey-based emPower Docs, a provider of revenue improvement services for large independent practices.
