10 recent hospital outlook and credit rating actions

The following hospital and health system rating and outlook changes and affirmations took place in the last week, starting with the most recent.

1. Moody's assigns 'Aa3' to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's bonds
Moody's Investors Service assigned an "Aa3" rating to Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's proposed $400 million of series 2015 bonds. 

2. Moody's affirms Wayne Memorial Hospital's 'Baa1' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed Goldsboro, N.C.-based Wayne Memorial Hospital's "Baa1" issuer rating.

3. Moody's affirms Children's Hospital of Los Angeles' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed Children's Hospital of Los Angeles' "Baa2" rating, affecting approximately $471 million of rated debt. 

4. Moody's affirms CentraCare Health System's 'A1' rating
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A1" rating assigned to St. Cloud, Minn.-based CentraCare Health System's $230 million of outstanding rated bonds. 

5. Moody's revises Capital Region Medical Center's outlook to negative
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "A3" rating on Jefferson City, Mo.-based Capital Region Medical Center's series 2011 fixed rate revenue bonds, affecting $27.6 million

6. Fitch affirms Care New England's 'BBB' rating
Fitch Ratings affirmed the "BBB" rating on Providence, R.I.-based Care New England's series 2013A hospital revenue bonds, affecting $85.5 million. 

7. S&P assigns 'AA-' to Enloe Medical Center's bonds
S&P assigned an "AA-" long-term rating to the California Statewide Communities Development Authority's $175 million of series 2015 bonds issued on behalf of Chico, Calif.-based Enloe Medical Center. 

8. S&P revises St. John's Medical Center's outlook to positive
S&P revised the outlook to positive and affirmed the "BBB+" long-term rating on Jackson, Wyo.-based St. John's Medical Center's series 2011B hospital revenue bonds. 

9. Fitch affirms Western Connecticut Health Network's bonds
Fitch Ratings affirmed the 'A' rating on the following bonds issued by the State of Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority on behalf of Brookfield-based Western Connecticut Health Network.

10. Moody's assigns 'MIG 1' to Avita Health System's notes
Moody's Investors Service assigned an "MIG 1" rating to Galion, Ohio-based Avita Health System's $86 million of proposed series 2015 notes to be issued by the County of Crawford, Ohio.
