With median total compensation of $250,000 or more, medical professionals and certain specialists account for eight of the 15 top paying jobs held by LinkedIn members, according to an analysis from the professional networking site.
LinkedIn analyzed salary data from more than 2 million network members as of April 2017. This means the analysis is not completely organic or comprehensive, since LinkedIn users interact with the social media platform in different ways.
Here is a breakdown of the 15 top earners among LinkedIn members, with medical professionals in bold. Note that median total compensation includes bonuses and commission, if applicable. C-level titles were excluded from the analysis.
