LinkedIn analyzed millions of jobs started by users between Jan. 1, 2022, and July 31, 2024, to determine the fastest-growing roles in metropolitan areas.

Here are the fastest-growing healthcare jobs in eight cities, per the analysis, with their ranking among each city’s fastest-growing jobs in parentheses:

Atlanta: Infusion nurse (4)

Boston: Nursing home administrator (1)

Chicago: Anesthesiologist (2)

Dallas: Mental health therapist (6)

Los Angeles: Physician assistant (10)

New York City: Clinical sales specialist (10)

San Francisco: Healthcare recruiter (2)

Washington, D.C.: Medical laboratory scientist (9)
