Members are using the channels to network, ask industry-related questions and look for new roles.
Finding the right slack channels can also be difficult since they are often not openly advertised but spread through word-of-mouth.
“It does seem to be kind of an insider club,” Jimmy Daly told the Journal. He co-founded Superpath, a Slack group for content marketers. “For the most part, people let you in on the secret as they discover it.”
