Where are the Hospitals With the Most Employees?

Hospitals with the most employees are more concentrated in certain regions of the United States than others.

For instance, the western region of the United States only has four hospitals in the top 50 hospitals with the most employees, and all four are in California.

Becker's Hospital Review previously listed the 50 Hospitals With the Most Employees. The list was based on CMS data analyzed by the American Hospital Directory, pulled in August 2013.

This is a regional breakdown of those hospitals, using the four regions designated by the U.S. Census Bureau.
