U.S. News & World Report surveyed 503 nursing schools that offer master’s or doctoral programs, and 246 responded and were eligible to be included in the rankings. Schools were ranked on a variety of factors, including a quality assessment, peer assessment score (in which nursing school deans were asked to rate the quality of master’s programs) and student selectivity and achievement, among other factors.
