Most of the affected nurses, health unit coordinators and patient care assistants are now DaVita employees and will continue working at the Christ Hospital, according to the report.

“By working with DaVita, our patients will have greater flexibility in receiving dialysis treatment either here at the Christ Hospital or at one of DaVita’s many outpatient locations,” Michael Jennings, MD, executive medical director of comprehensive medicine services at Christ Hospital, told the CBC.

DaVita has more than 30 locations around the Cincinnati area.
