SSM Health wants to hire additional military veterans: 3 things to know

St. Louis-based SSM Health is looking to hire more military veterans through its recently launched initiative called Operation Hired, according to a KSDK report.

Here are three things to know about Operation Hired.

1. As part of Operation Hired, SSM offers a virtual career fair for military veterans, including job listings and three hotlines to call SSM recruiters, according to the report.

2. Scott Foster, SSM workforce development leader, touted the initiative in the report, saying it gives military veterans an opportunity to come to the health system, and to talk to one of SSM's recruiters on the phone about their military experience and how that translates to healthcare.
