About 340 workers, members of SEIU 49, plan to participate in the strike. The union represents certified nursing assistants, surgery technicians, housekeepers, food service workers and other hospital employees.
The union and the hospital have been in contract negotiations for the last 11 months after the last contract expired in December 2013, according to the report.
The hospital has a contingency operations plan and services will continue during the strike, according to the report.
