Customers who use the TeleTracking patient flow and capacity management system and the Kronos employee scheduling solution can go through a two-day integration process for the two systems.

The two companies formed the relationship in part because of the projected shortage of nurses and potential savings achieved through staffing efficiency.

“Current research shows an increased demand for human capital management solutions to improve staff recruitment, training, utilization and retention,” said Michael Gallup, CEO of TeleTracking. “This is essential, considering that nearly 45 percent of all nurses in the U.S. are nearing retirement. Also, adding to the nurse shortage issue, the healthcare industry is shifting toward a value-based delivery model, driving changes in the way operational initiatives are managed in hospitals.”
