Vanguard Health Chicago includes four hospitals in Illinois, which will still be referred to by their current names but with “UnityHealth” added to the beginning. Those hospitals are: Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park and West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park.

A Vanguard spokesperson said the renaming will help the subsidiary build a local identity and differentiate it from other area networks, according to the report.
