The Oncology Core Education and Networking program is a collaborative effort of experts and speakers from the network and McKesson, according to a Nov. 21 news release. It consists of 22.5 hours of live virtual learning, question-and-answer sessions, lectures and team-building activities designed to improve basic knowledge of 12 core areas of cancer care.

The program launched in April 2023. There are currently 170 nurses from 26 practices participating in the program. Of those who have participated, 82% remained employed at the practice for one year and 70% had a notable knowledge improvement between their pre- and post-course assessment.
