Michigan Medicine (Ann Arbor). The Frankel Cardiovascular Center at Michigan Medicine recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and is home to four cardiac surgery operating rooms, two endovascular procedure labs and 36 clinic exam rooms. The Cardiovascular Health Improvement Project studies aortic diseases and seeks to understand their genetic causes for more effective treatment. The hospital also manages the International Registry of Acute Aortic Dissection, which provides clinicians with information on risk factors and outcomes related to aortic disease. Michigan Medicine’s University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Center was ranked the No. 10 hospital in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report.
