Toyota tests self-driving cars, with safety drivers and engineers in the vehicles, in San Francisco and Ann Arbor, Mich.
“We’ve told our drivers to take a couple of days off so we can assess the situation,” said Rick Bourgoise, a Toyota spokesperson, according to The New York Times.
