Todd J. Albert, MD. Surgeon-in-Chief and Medical Director of Hospital for Special Surgery (New York). In addition to serving as surgeon-in-chief of Hospital for Special Surgery, Dr. Albert is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. Prior to joining HSS, he was chairman of the department of orthopedics and president of Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Rothman Institute. Dr. Albert has authored seven books and published more than 300 articles on a variety of topics, serves on the boards of several journals and is past president of the Cervical Spine Research Society.
