The facility will be co-branded and jointly owned. Tampa General will operate the facility while Mass General will oversee quality and safety, according to a March 11 news release from Tampa General Hospital.
The center will offer “an integrated, patient-centered approach, where each patient’s journey is tailored for their specific needs and embraces all aspects of their health,” the release said.
Though the organizations have worked together for more than three years, the new center marks their first national clinical affiliation.
