Ronald Kaufman, MD. CMO of Good Samaritan Hospital (San Jose, Calif.). Dr. Kaufman joined Good Samaritan Hospital as CMO in January 2018, responsible for overseeing patient safety and quality, regulatory compliance, and the development of innovative clinical programs. He is also responsible for physician relations and will assist with network development as a member of the hospital’s executive leadership team. Dr. Kaufman previously served as CMO for Tenet Healthcare’s Western Region, where he was responsible for quality initiatives at 22 hospitals. He also has experience as chief of staff at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center and associate vice president for health affairs and associate vice dean at USC Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
