New Jersey’s Memorial Hospital of Salem County Changes Mind; Maternity Ward Will Remain Open

Memorial Hospital of Salem (N.J.) County was withdrawn its application to the state to close its maternity ward, according to a Today’s Sunbeam report.

The hospital initially filed the request to shutter the ward due to profitability issues. However, hospital officials said the request was withdrawn because it was submitted more than a year ago.
