Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center Plans $62.6M Expansion Project in 2013

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, Ariz., has announced that it will break ground on a $62.6 million expansion project in January 2013.

The project will include 30 additional clinic exam rooms, 13 additional infusion bays and three additional linear accelerators. It will also feature the new Cox Center for Integrative Oncology and Cancer Prevention and a dedicated space for the Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy program.

The addition is expected to open in spring 2014.
