Patrice Weiss, MD. CMO of Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). In addition to her role overseeing the medical staff at Carilion Clinic as CMO, Dr. Weiss is professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at Blacksburg, Va.-based Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has experience as the chair of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ patient safety and quality improvement committee. Prior to joining Carilion Clinic, Dr. Weiss spent time as vice chair of education, research and academic compliance at Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Hospital and medical director of risk management for Lehigh Valley Physician Group.
