Northwestern Memorial in Chicago Proceeds With Construction Plans for $344M Tower

Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago has begun presenting plans to construct a $344 million medical office building to community groups, according to a Chicago Business report.

The 25-story facility would be located across the street from the hospital and would feature the Musculoskeletal Institute, operating rooms for outpatient services, diagnostic services and physicians’ offices.

According to the report, Northwestern’s rivals in Chicago, Rush University Medical Center and the University of Chicago Medical Center, are also undergoing major construction projects.
