Michael Henderson, MD. CMO of University of Mississippi Medical Center (Jackson). Dr. Henderson became CMO of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in April 2015. Prior to this, he served as chief quality officer for Cleveland Clinic, where he also spent time as a professor of surgery and chairman of the Quality and Patient Safety Institute. Dr. Henderson serves on the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare’s Robust Performance Improvement advisory board and has past experience as a global expert for the World Health Organization’s Leaders Guide on Patient and Quality of Care in Services Delivery.
