Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Wyoming Builds $16.1M Cancer Center

Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyo., is building a $16.1 million cancer center, according to a report by the Wyoming Business Report.

The 80,000-square-foot facility will feature an infusion center for chemotherapy and radiation therapy. It is expected to open in fall 2013, according to the report.

The facility may serve as a potential location for the expansion of services included in an affiliation agreement between Memorial Hospital and University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics in Salt Lake City.
