McKesson to Administer Cephalon Programs for Cancer Pain

Cephalon, a Woodlands, Texas, medical device company, has chosen McKesson Specialty Health to administer its FDA-approved FENTORA and ACIQ Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy Programs for management breakthrough pain in cancer patients, according to a McKesson news release.

McKesson Specialty Health will now administer Cephalon REMS programs and McKesson’s sister organization RelayHealth will allow patients to have their prescriptions filled at any local retail pharmacy enrolled in the ACTIQ and FENTORA REMS programs.
