The Marine Corps Systems Command is looking for a “field rugged and modernized” anesthesia machine that weighs less than 10 pounds and fits into the palm of a hand to replace older DOVs currently in use.

The Marine Corps will seek FDA approval for a replacement system, which could be adopted by all services.
