The individual would serve as a lead researcher with Lewin’s national security and emergency preparedness practice.

In discussing the kind of research this person will do, Paul Hogan, senior vice president and practice director for federal national security and emergency preparedness, told The Washington Post  that the firm has developed models to test whether the scope of practice laws impact health outcomes. Also, he said in the report, another project involves how U.S. demographics are going to change, and the affect that will have on how much healthcare is needed.
