The bill (H.R. 1852) would provide $330 million each of the five years to help train pediatric physicians. It is being sponsored by Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health Chairman Joe Pitts (R-Pa.) and Ranking Member Frank Pallone (D-N.J.).
The American Hospital Association has expressed support for the bill.
