Under the deal, Johns Hopkins will assess the management of the hospitals as well as the quality of care provided at them, provide a gap analysis and oversee improvements.
Johns Hopkins and Pacifico Salud, which is part of Pacifico Peruano Suiza, one of the largest insurers in Peru, signed the agreement on Dec. 2. Efforts will begin in January, according to the report.
