Established in 1973, the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state of Maryland. It has also been recognized as a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers and was ranked in the top 50 for cancer care by CareChex this year.
